City of fashion and design, Milan, was the second town to be immortalised by Icons of Italy. The skyline features the Cathedral flanked by the Church of San Babila and the Scala opera-house. The Pirellone skyscraper and the Velasca Tower represent modern Milan; Sant’Ambrogio, the Sforza Castle, the Arch of Peace and the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie are symbols of Milan’s past history.
